Hey everyone,
Are you planning to go to the US Social Forum happening in Atlanta, June 27 - July 1, 2007? INCITE!'s national steering committee is organizing a gathering for local chapters and affiliates there b/c some folks were already planning to attend, which would limit costs.
We haven't set up an agenda or anything like that yet. Right now, we're wanting to hear from folks organizing locally if they are already planning to go and, if not, would you be interested in going to attend the INCITE! gathering.

there isn't an Incite group in LA but I'd love to see how I would be able to connect with others at the US Social Forum so I could possibly with support from other Angelinas begin one.

INCITE! will definitely be in full effect at the ussf, complete with workshops, propaganda galore, and a tent for woc to connect and make plans. We'll be sending out more info on this very soon over our listserv. And, fab, since you're not in the chapter loop, I'll e-mail you to make sure you get this info...
