Is INCITE mobilizing any kind of response to this [the Jena 6 case] and to the brutal rape of the West Virginia woman [Megan Williams]? (Not to mention this comes less than a year on the tail of the Durham acquittal case which still burns me up every time I think about it).
These acts are horrific and inhuman, and their proliferation lead me to wonder if we are living in 1947 or 2007 -- the anti-black hate crimes just seem to keep mounting.
What links do we have to other folks who are doing work around any of this stuff?
Is there some kind of conscious-ness raising, i.e. a town hall forum, or just concrete legal support we can provide?
This is bullshit and I'm sick of seeing this stuff come in my inbox. It makes me feel helpless...but that's what INCITE is for, not to get stuck in inertia and helplessness.
